Hi Repl,
Monero implementation is on the way..
Replace your Monero daemon with Bitcoin daemon. (Check the installation script "").
About virtualbox, it is possible to install also on physical servers, I used virtualbox just for convenience.

General Annularis Discussion / Using annularis on a cloud server?
« Last post by Repl on March 05, 2018, 11:28:42 AM »
Hey, i've seen a couple of tutorials now on virtual box and so on, but is it posseble to get it up and running on a cloud server? (like digitalocean) i've been trying now for about a week (about 10 hours of trying/researching) and only come to the install area where i get this: "Unable to make connection to the monero daemon. Is it running? Are your settings correct?" tried to multible things, like changing the ip and port but same error every time.

so is it posseble or do i have to run it on a virtual box only?

thanks in advance, didnt know where to post this :s!

We'll be making it absurdly easy to setup in the future by making it quickly deployable using containerization/docker.
I am also willing to record video/audio on how to do this, would be good for my YouTube channel! :)

We have a lot of work to do in regards to making annularis work effectively with Monero multisig, and making it easy enough for common users to use and buy using Monero.
Now that Monero has multisig, the RPC works with Multisig, and the fact that it is soon to be packaged with Debian (and hopefully TAILS) we are going to be hitting this project much harder, and a lot of functionality and improvements will be seen.
It's taken awhile for me to organize it, but I'm meeting with a team today that'll be developing it and it should be all very good news!

I've been quietly working on the project on as well, and have been putting more thought into it. I'll be changing that from private to public soon.

First of all, you guys must be like super heros or somthing, very rare to se people working so hard on a open project like this.

I noticed (when i installed annularis) that it took a very long time, and its not so detailed in the installation section, not even the "auto" installer is that easy (in my opinion, as a really bad english speaking person, it was kinda hard and took me about 2 days to install annularis on my digitalocean server) if i could suggest a tutorail video, not long but just a fast video showing how to install annularis!

again, thank you guys/girls so much, really awesome super hero work you doing here.
Looks like this will have amazing functionality. Any updates about this project, Vespco?

Yes definitely. I am working on getting it setup on to help get more attention to the project and to have more input.
I need to define how the multisig is going to be implemented. I'm still not sure the best/easiest way to do it. Seems like a nice multisig feature for bitcoin was ever worked out.

In the last few weeks I have been a bit busy with the work and I have not been able to publish new updates but I constantly follow the development phase.

Unfortunately the implementation of new features in the back-end proceeds a bit slow .. I have to study a lot before each commit.

At the moment @serhack is busy with Mastering Monero and all the contacts I have received in the last months are almost all end-users or testers but no developer ..

Your words, however, encourage a lot knowing that the hard work done in recent months has encouraged some real developer to give us his contribution.

It's just an opinion but I think that:
* Having a well-defined official roadmap could simplify the work
* Some news (maybe via social) about the progress of the development could intrigue some developer / tester more. From that point of view at the moment the project seems a bit 'in a state of neglect, even if in reality it is exactly the opposite ..

Wonderful! Checking it out now.
Going to get more involved. Been crazy busy with life but I am more then happy to help test bugs and everything else I can do.

Also I'm in contact with humancell and they're going to add massive support to this project soon. It is very exciting times!
Thank you for the update and demo. Really appreciate all the effort that has been put forth for this!
